About The Dance Company
Carpe Diem Dance Company was founded by Mel C in March 2003.
Carpe Diem started off as an all girl performance group and has now grown into a very successful dance company.
The group have performed all over the UK and in many parts of Europe. They have performed at some of the biggest events in the world, including The UK Salsa Congress and the British Salsa Congress.
The Dance Company teach Salsa Classes and Courses at various venues in the midlands, including the highly acclaimed DanceXchange at the Birmingham Hippodrome.
Carpe Diem are in association with the UKA to provide Salsa Teaching Courses for those wishing to gain a teaching qualification in Salsa and they also provide UKA medal courses.
They cater for all levels of dancers and Mel C is the creator of Ladies Flava, the new concept in Ladies Styling.
Carpe Diem focus on teaching clearly, precisely and safely, but they also ensure that their students have fun! They firmly believe that people learn more when they are having a good time and dancing is supposed to be fun!
